Each year, the President of CIW issues a series of challenges for the club to make certain items. The goal is to encourage members to step out of their comfort zone and try making something they . normally make. Here are the 2024 Presidents Challenges.
- Something that was demonstrated during a meeting in 2024
- Something segmented
- Turn a tool handle
- Turn a wig stand
- Turn a hollow form
- Show a home made tool or fixture
- Turn a natural edge bowl
- Turn a spinning top
- Turn a set of bowls
- Turn a sphere
- Turn a bird house
- Something with a lid that pops
Item must be turned in 2024. ( exception #6)
Item can only be entered in 1 challenge
Must be shown live or on zoom.
Each entry = one prize chance
Prize drawing will be at Dec 2024 meeting
