Members of CIW have access to:
- a broad range of turners within our club from beginners to members with over 30 years of experience. This includes members who have offered to formally mentor new turners.
- The yearly Kieth Adams Memorial Turning Saturday for a reduced cost. For more information, see the “Special Events” tab.
- Training classes for club members, conducted at least once per year.
- Demonstrations of a wide variety of woodturning topics and techniques given at each month’s meeting. These demonstrations are interactive, allowing Q&A throughout the presentation.
- All demonstrations given for the club by professional wood turners, often covering specific tools and techniques that are new or non-traditional.
- Monthly meetings where club members come together to offer support, critique, training, camaraderie, and a “show and tell” portion where members can show what they’ve created with others who understand their efforts.
